Not Worth the Effort

Thomas has received another writing award. This time his poem was selected to appear in the Creative Communication poetry anthology that is published each year. Here it is:

A Loose Wonder
by Thomas Graf

I am a stellar loose wonder
Of eight particles
One sharp eye of a streaking hawk
The emotions of a crackling bonfire
Sittin’ on the calm beach.
A computer world science freak-
That’s me.
A baseball player all-star-
That’s me.
A walking physics encyclopedia-
That’s me.
A bookworm future craver
A jazz lover and an amazing actor-
That’s me.
The bat cracking against the ball
The amazing science experiments
The numbers and letters and calculations
The words flying to my brain
The thoughts of new inventions-
That’s me!
