La Jolla Rough Water Swim
Here I am finishing my annual open water swim, the 1 mile La Jolla Rough Water Swim. The water temperature was great (75 degrees), but there was a bit of a swell to contend with. My time was about 4 minutes slower than last year (pre-Anthony!). Click here for pictures.

Family Vacation
Because of Anthony's June 22nd arrival we didn't really have a Summer vacation this year (although Sophie and Thomas did spend a week with Mamere and Pops in Florida). To make up for that, we went on a 24-hour family vacation last Sunday. We went to the Belmont Park amusement park and then spent one night at the Catamaran Resort on Mission Bay.
Thomas loved watching the Giant Dipper roller coaster, but only Mom and Dad were brave enough to ride it. Here are some pictures.

Sophie and Thomas Home from Florida
Sophie and Thomas had a great time with Mamere and Pops and their aunts, uncles, and cousins in Seagrove Beach, Florida. Cindy didn't really seem to miss them, and even learned to talk while they were gone (a lot more dead air in the house). I posted a video (large file) of Cindy's reaction when they arrived at the San Diego Airport.
