HP San Diego Photo Contest 

I managed to win one of the categories in this year's HP San Diego Employee Photo Contest. The category was Architecture and my picture is an evening shot off of our balcony at the Wyndham in Palm Springs. Click here to see all of the winners. My prize was a Photosmart 245 4x6 photo printer... very cool!

Thomas Playing Baseball 

Thomas joined the Marlins half-way through the season and has been having a blast. This is a "coach pitch" league. At this morning's game, Thomas got two kids out when he was playing first base (one was unassisted!). There are some videos of him posted here.

Field Trip to San Juan Capistrano 

Last Wednesday I went with Sophie's class on their field trip to Mission San Juan Capistrano. We took the Amtrack from Solana Beach. It was a beautiful day and we all learned a lot. Click here for some pictures.

Queen Mary 


We went to the Queen Mary in Long Beach this weekend and stayed on board in the hotel. Thomas loved every minute of it as he explored the ship and quoted comparisons with the ill-fated Titanic. Jennifer enjoyed the fancy Sunday brunch on Mother's Day.
